Last year, I visited one of the greatest cities in Europe, Liverpool. I always dreamed of visiting the North West English city. Full of history, music and sports Liverpool is known for being the first city that had a dock in England where all the import/export activity used to take place. It also is the birthplace of The Beatles, the greatest music band that ever existed. Finally, the city is the main location of the most successful English team, Liverpool FC. Known as Merseyside, the city is connected to the ocean via the beautiful Mersey river. Its people are so friendly and welcoming, the city must be on every passionate traveler’s checklist.
