Aminata in London

Updated: Dec 12, 2020

I spent 3 days in London. I was leaving in at a beautiful hostel in pitodrie. The hostel cost 15 £ a night it was very cheap because I booked early and had discount. I took a weekly tickets which cost me around 20 £ for both train and bus.

My first day I visited Camden a well-known cultural neighborhood in London. Its known for its alternative culture, and is full of tourist like myself. Things were pretty cheap here as bought souvenirs under 10 £.

Day two I visited the iconic London eye. The Eye is a giant ferris wheel offering gorgeous views across the city. At night, the wheel is lit up in seasonal colors. The boat trip cost me 10 £. Since everything was near I also decided to visit London acquarium to see acquatic creatures from around the world.

Day three I went to Shoreditch one of the hottest nightlife spots in the city and one of the coolest places packed full of bars and eateries, it’s the perfect place to spend a day and an evening. I went with some friends from the hostel we spent the full day walking eating at different local fast food. The food are cheap as we got a full meal for 5 £. In the night we Check out Trapeze, a circus-themed bar that serves endlessly inventive drinks out of popcorn tub-style cups what an experience it was.

I will recommend a trip to London because for me it was a very good experience for me. I got to visit many interesting places and did not spend much as things were affordable. The people are nice and friendly the city is busy but easy to understand. English is the main language but you hear all kind of languages when you are in the street.
