I think that all Moroccans and tourists who have visited Morocco would agree that Marrakech is one of the best destinations to head to in the country. A city of heat and sunshine, laughter and colors. If you’re looking for a place to stay in, I would suggest Marrakech riads, as they will make you delve to a traditional and subtle era. Otherwise, there are other hotels you could easily find on Booking , which offer a quite enjoyable stay. There are a lot of activities to do in Marrakech, depending on the length of your stay and your budget, but one of the must do in Marrakech is to visit the souks and venture in Jamaa Al Fna with its heavy and loud crowds, and while you’re there maybe hit one of the restaurants to taste the famous Marrakech dish “Tanjia”, and in this case, I would suggest Argana, as it offers a spectacular view. Speaking of restaurants and coffeeshops, I would highly recommend having coffee or even dinner at L’adresse. This coffeeshop/restaurant is so aesthetic that you will surely enjoy your coffee (at least for me). And if you still have time and the weather is good and promising, you should probably go on a trip to Ourika, not so far from the city but it surely is worth it. If you’re a fan of hiking, I would highly recommend going there to hike so as to see the Ourika waterfalls, and have a “Tajine” for lunch, on your way down. I’m sure there are other places in this city to see and activities to do, but for me, this is all that I have been able to see and do in my 2 days trip to Marrakech, and let me tell you this, it was worthy of every penny and time.
